Local Ed Reform Initiatives
During the spring/summer of 1999 and 2000, Bill Harju, retired Executive Director of the San Diego Education Association, visited all locals that are members of TURN. Using a standard interview format, Bill collected basic demographic information on the local and the district, typical background information, and detailed information on education reform initiatives in each local. In addition, Bill collected numerous hard copy documents (listed as attachments to each report, but not appearing online) from each local that are being archived in TURN records.
The reports are available in Acrobat Reader (pdf) format.
