National Union Reform Initiatives

TURN is exploring opportunities to mutually support and promote the innovation initiatives of the national teachers unions:

• AFT Innovation Fund
• NEA Institute for Innovation in Teaching & Learning

We will use this space and face-to-face TURN meetings to present success stories and model programs of the initiatives, as well as building capacity and providing technical assistance to TURN members on how to adapt successful models and tools in their districts and regions.  

Finally, we are exploring how the emerging TURN regional networks can help to identify and support new projects, programs, and tools for inclusion in the AFT and NEA innovation projects.
