I am a former teacher (1968-86) and teacher union leader (1973-86). Since 86 I have been in the business of designing and developing online spaces to facilitate innovation in education.

My first involvement with TURN was about 12 years ago, when we first launched TURNexchange.net. I'm very excited about the prospects of the current effort to develop regional networks as part of a larger initiative to transform teacher unions and education.
